AI-generated imagery is increasingly common, and it’s easy to see the appeal – quick variations, seasonal adaptations and reduced cost. But in the world of food & drink, particularly, it tends to show. Wrong textures, inaccurate labels and a sense of artifice that’s hard to pin down but easy to feel.
The approach I’ve been developing starts with a proper shoot: real products, real setups, controlled studio lighting. That gives you images that are genuinely yours and true to the genuine product. From there, AI can be used to extend and adapt, without compromising what makes the original work.
How it works ...
We create a core set of authentic product images, correctly lit, accurately labelled, true to your product
AI-adapted variations can be created for seasonal campaigns, limited editions, or when a different format/background is required
You maintain a consistent brand identity across all outputs, because everything starts from the real thing
No risk of garbled labels, wrong textures, or uncanny results – the authenticity is baked in from the start
The before/after examples below show this working in practice – the image on the left (before) is a traditionally styled, shot and edited image, while the image on the right (after) has been adapted with AI, but the product stays true to life.
